Janne Katt was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Samuel Dusett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Dusett really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 9th minute Torgny Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Katt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monia&Ibrahim's Yu Song Cheng got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Pil came free, but Janne Katt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Torgny Fernström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Janne Katt. The goal made the score 2-0. Sten Pil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Janne Katt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Allan Helberg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Monia&Ibrahim defense, Jonas Rosendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Sjöö. The Monia&Ibrahim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Sjöö should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Monia&Ibrahim's Samuel Dusett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Janne Katt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Allan Helberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Fernström might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janne Katt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torgny Fernström ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgny Fernström was the one to do the kick off. Gavino Semeno's late challenge caught a Monia&Ibrahim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Semeno helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Gavino Semeno got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Janne Katt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Fernström in the 59th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Eric Bark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Rosendahl in the 62nd minute of play forced Monia&Ibrahim's goalkeeper Marcus Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monia&Ibrahim made a substitution. Cao Wei Liang replaced Sten Pil. Janne Katt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Fernström in the 71st minute of play. Jonas Rosendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Marcus Sjöö made a huge save. Janne Katt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Fernström's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Monia&Ibrahim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Torgny Fernström in the 75th minute. Monia&Ibrahim's Torgny Fernström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Janne Katt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Rosendahl in the 79th minute of play forced Monia&Ibrahim's goalkeeper Marcus Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cao Wei Liang in the 81st minute of play forced Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Janne Katt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janne Katt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cao Wei Liang's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes Sonstorps Fotboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Torgny Fernström who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Gunnar Jönsätt to score against Janne Katt in Sonstorps Fotboll's goal. 3-1 after 84 minutes. Janne Katt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Fernström in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janne Katt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Witomir Naujasodis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sonstorps Fotboll's Janne Katt did a great save. In the 95thth minute of the game Torgny Fernström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonstorps Fotboll's Janne Katt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Monia&Ibrahim support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
