In the 6th minute Éder Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tõnis Kaldvee got free with Benedito Trigo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Grimório's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Yang Sang came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Wilson Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grimório's Kajar Püss couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sagarana Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Madureira in the 16th minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Waldemar Pawlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Alo Ülipikk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Madureira in the 21st minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Waldemar Pawlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Sérgio Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grimório and the Sagarana Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Sérgio Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Pawlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Madureira in the 26th minute of the match. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éder Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Waldemar Pawlik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éder Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kajar Püss in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Trigo saved Sagarana Clube from getting behind. In the 38thth minute of the game Kajar Püss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Yan Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas de Queirós in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Yu Yang Sang made the kick off in the second half. Grimório's Waldemar Pawlik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Grimório from getting a goal against them. Benedito Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kajar Püss's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Grimório's Kajar Püss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedito Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tõnis Kaldvee kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Grimório made a substitution. Joel Lüüs replaced Renaud Van de Put. In the 72nd minute, Tõnis Kaldvee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Pawlik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Grimório's Waldemar Pawlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas de Queirós in the 90th minute of play. The Grimório fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sagarana Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
