Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Abascal in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Naelio in the 21st minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Jacinto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ariel Mourelatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Cachorro in the 39th minute. Linus Fredriksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ariel Mourelatos could save by the left post. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Goleš in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Goleš to make the kick off. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Naelio in the 55th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marlin FC's Jeronimo Sotil managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruce Cornforth in the 66 minute of the game. In the 71st minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 81st minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 86th minute. After 96 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Atilano Mantzio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Carlos Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Marlin FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Amboy FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Amboy FC.
