The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Ree got free with George Forsyth in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Axel Ree recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of George Forsyth. Axel Ree showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tulio Andinyach in the 22nd minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 23rd minute of play. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cassaretto in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bøje Dyssen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Albinus Alking shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Monks in Robes's Axel Ree, in the 36th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Monks in Robes. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Albinus Alking sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 42nd minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Axel Ree made the kick off in the second half. Zlatan Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bøje Dyssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 61st minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bøje Dyssen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Monks in Robes from getting a goal against them.
