When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tadeusz Raschke sped through Maccabi Netanya's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raul Zoff. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Raschke in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Zoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Raschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Raul Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 13th minute. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Maccabi Netanya from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dunixi Laurenciano in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Maccabi Netanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jori Pereire to maneuver through the defense. Raul Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Tadeusz Raschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Hugon Imbor got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadmor Netaniyahu in the 37th minute of play. Tadeusz Raschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Zoff having to interfere. Dunixi Laurenciano took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Bielejewski. Tanek Bielejewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Grasshoppers Klucze's Pedro Barrionuevo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aurelio Tanio, made in the 47th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeusz Raschke to make the kick off. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dunixi Laurenciano in the 53rd minute of play. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dunixi Laurenciano in the 57th minute of the match. When Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Maccabi Netanya getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zili Lederfein hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Tadeusz Raschke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Zoff was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tadeusz Raschke might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Zoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeusz Raschke ran back to his position shaking his head. Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 82nd minute of play forced Maccabi Netanya's goalkeeper Raul Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Tadeusz Raschke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Zoff was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Grasshoppers Klucze's Kryspin Mleczewski was substituted for Hieronim Skrzypek. Tadeusz Raschke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Zoff having to make a save. Raul Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maccabi Netanya players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grasshoppers Klucze.
