When Kent Remme came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Remme couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Plumerillo's Bahadırhan Yılğıralp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Witek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abel Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Plumerillo's Casimiro Asier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borys Witek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Markham in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Matro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignacio Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Brufoss IL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Plumerillo were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Asier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Emanuel Markham sped through Plumerillo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abel Matro. Kent Remme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Matro having to interfere. Casimiro Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Matro saved Plumerillo from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, Casimiro Asier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plumerillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. Casimiro Asier hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
