Tanek Bielejewski made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Dunixi Laurenciano sent off a good shot on target. After 19 played minutes Maccabi Netanya got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Tanio. 21 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grasshoppers Klucze were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Maccabi Netanya's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Ferdinand took the corner. Raul Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Maccabi Netanya got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Tanio. Tanek Bielejewski was a little too slow when Tadmor Netaniyahu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice moves Kacper Charamut could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Raul Zoff however easily saved by the left post. Raul Zoff was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Kacper Charamut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kacper Charamut really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Raul Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Charamut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Maccabi Netanya from getting a goal against them. Maccabi Netanya's Chuttur Lønge was substituted for Dunixi Laurenciano. In the 73rd minute, Denislav Tzankovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76thth minute of the game Tadeusz Raschke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grasshoppers Klucze made a substitution. Damazy Franzik replaced Kacper Charamut. Grasshoppers Klucze's Karol Kolbert was substituted for Igor Praski. The corner ended in Pedro Ferdinand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tadeusz Raschke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Raschke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Zoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Damazy Franzik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tadeusz Raschke took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Raul Zoff to make any attempt to save it. Raul Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Grasshoppers Klucze were awarded a corner. Pedro Ferdinand went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Pedro Ferdinand managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Maccabi Netanya's Chuttur Lønge got a free kick in the 94th minute. Raul Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Grasshoppers Klucze walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
