In the 8th minute Fellipe Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Emilio Cascajares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Urtats. Areco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Cascajares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Areco FC booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, October 04's Emilio Cascajares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Emilio Cascajares might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Urtats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Cascajares ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 28th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. October 04's Eskil Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Sol in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Emilio Cascajares notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats. Gabriel Urtats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Cascajares struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Gabriel Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for October 04. After having played for 37 minutes, Emilio Cascajares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. October 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Cascajares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Cascajares came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Cascajares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Cristofor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Cascajares got free with Gabriel Urtats in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cristofor in the 58th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Urtats didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Emilio Cascajares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Urtats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, October 04's Emilio Cascajares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 73rd match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Domiku to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 76th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes Areco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fellipe Valle who took care of the corner kick. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal and Emilio Cascajares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Ismael Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fellipe Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Tor Kämpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. October 04's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
