When Edgardo Domiku fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Areco FC's protests and gave Edgardo Domiku a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Domiku to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes Areco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dariusz Motyl who took care of the corner kick. La Bichineta's Dariusz Motyl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Urtats in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hauk Hareide in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benja Dominguez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benja Dominguez got free with Silvestre Peli in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benja Dominguez succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After some careless play in the Areco FC defense, Hauk Hareide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Urtats. The Areco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Urtats should have stopped the shot. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cristofor in the 21st minute of play. Silvestre Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Sol in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. When Felix Castel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Castel couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Abaunza came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hauk Hareide in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Benja Dominguez notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli. Silvestre Peli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival de Azevedo in the 36th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Gines got free with Silvestre Peli in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Igor Cristofor made the kick off in the second half. Nói Ado made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Bichineta's Toto Ferdi. Gabriel Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hauk Hareide in the 58th minute. The shot was stopped by Gabriel Urtats but with some difficulty. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cristofor in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Vennard Rojak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Areco FC's Nói Ado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Carolo Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Abancens couldn't finish the play. La Bichineta made a substitution. Timoteo Izel replaced Sun Yuan Zheng. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Castel came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Urtats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Abancens went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Igor Cristofor made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Bichineta's Amado Filipo. 86 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Abancens came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Carolo Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Felix Castel made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Urtats. Areco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, La Bichineta's Carolo Abancens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Bichineta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
