Igor Cristofor started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gabriel Urtats was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Cascajares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Areco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Emilio Cascajares scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Urtats, making the score, 2-0. Gabriel Urtats stood somewhat misplaced when Emilio Cascajares came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. Narciso Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Benja Dominguez made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. October 04's Eskil Vester tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustin Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Vester having to interfere. Eskil Vester was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Cristofor to maneuver through the defense. In the 28thth minute of the game Emilio Cascajares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. October 04's Eskil Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Pirro in the 33rd minute of play. When Areco FC's Igor Cristofor in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Disappointed in the 3-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Cascajares was the one to do the kick off. Ismael Barros made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Agustin Abaunza. Agustin Abaunza hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Cascajares in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Urtats saved Areco FC from getting behind. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Tor Kämpe with Aquiles Pirro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 61 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Barros. October 04's Eskil Vester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save October 04 from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Narciso Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Areco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
