After 13 minutes, Denis Stanislao made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Gösta Granberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Iribarren. Gösta Granberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Gösta Granberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Stanislao scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olle Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Stanislao in the 37th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, VfL Wolfsburg's Yin Bing Ming got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fernando Eufemio scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olle Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Stanislao in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Tunander saved VfL Wolfsburg from getting behind. Olle Tunander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Stanislao's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gösta Granberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olle Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Eufemio in the 51st minute of play. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Eufemio. In the 55th minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VfL Wolfsburg's Marouane Kiefer got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Octavio Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Stanislao in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Stanislao in the 68th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacronas Futbol Club's attentive Octavio Regis managed to snatch the ball when Yin Bing Ming made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacronas Futbol Club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over VfL Wolfsburg's much stronger midfield.
