In the 4th minute, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Olle Tunander. VfL Wolfsburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marouane Kiefer charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marouane Kiefer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Marouane Kiefer. 15 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by VfL Wolfsburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Erik Lind was slow to take the kick. During this time KIA KAHA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on KIA KAHA's corner Karl-Erik Lind fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olle Tunander quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 17th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olle Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of VfL Wolfsburg booed when KIA KAHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sataporn Snabl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olle Tunander. VfL Wolfsburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Tunander saved VfL Wolfsburg from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sataporn Snabl managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIA KAHA's supporters rose to their feet, but Sataporn Snabl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Knut Nyberg. Sataporn Snabl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Olle Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sataporn Snabl to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sataporn Snabl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olle Tunander. That made the score 0-4 in the 52 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 61st minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KIA KAHA made a substitution. Pelle Flinck replaced Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos. KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius was substituted for Sataporn Snabl. A sloppy throw-in by Kong Zhou Li in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VfL Wolfsburg's Patrick Albom. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when VfL Wolfsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Wolfsburg from getting a goal against them. Fabio Santilli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Granberg in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Yin Bing Ming. Fabio Santilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Flinck in the 76th minute of play. A hard shot 78 in the game by Daniel Glanselius from a close distance when the talented Olle Tunander managed to make a qualified save. VfL Wolfsburg's players were relieved. In the 79th minute Pelle Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Flinck came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pelle Flinck in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Tunander saved VfL Wolfsburg from getting behind. Daniel Glanselius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olle Tunander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Patrick Albom struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Fabio Santilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Wolfsburg. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gösta Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Wolfsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Granberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Santilli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Rydzewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olle Tunander. Zdzislaw Rydzewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Pelle Flinck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olle Tunander came out and tried to block the shot, but Pelle Flinck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 94th minute.
