In the 4th minute Kip William shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kip William, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute La Acade were awarded a corner. Teófilo Amaro went to the cornerflag to take it. After 13 minutes of play, La Acade's Kip William made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Chiuzbaian was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

Blas Aritza came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 58 minutes into the match, La Acade's Kip William sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Chiuzbaian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kip William recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Aritza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Stasio Bienienda went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Stasio Bienienda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Blas Aritza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Primitivo Grau's late challenge caught a La Acade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Grau helped the player get up and apologised. Primitivo Grau kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı was substituted for Dacian Tilea. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip William in the 70th minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after La Acade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stasio Bienienda took the corner. The corner led Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Aritza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute La Acade were awarded a corner. Teófilo Amaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Felipe Saturnin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Iftode came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Acade players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-.
