In the 6thth minute of the game Can Tapık who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta-Univ.'s Eulalio Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Can Tapık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Pancu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Ming Sheng in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Pancu saved Forza Beşiktaş from getting behind. Forza Beşiktaş's Daniel Pancu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Lindqvist in the 17th minute of play. Vincent Paimboeuf hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ivar Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Pancu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Can Tapık made a precise shot to the right of Eulalio Urbasa. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Anacleto Terciero in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stiinta-Univ.'s Elari Jutt. In the 45th minute Aurel Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Pancu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Șerban Rușanu was substituted for Virgil Oargă. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Can Tapık to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Panait in the 53rd minute of play forced Forza Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Daniel Pancu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Can Tapık in the 56th minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viteazul Flore in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Viteazul Flore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Pancu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 60 minutes, Can Tapık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Beşiktaş and the Stiinta-Univ. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Can Tapık hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Daniel Pancu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Panait in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Daniel Pancu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Panait. 65 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Daniel Pancu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Lindqvist. Forza Beşiktaş's Daniel Pancu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Forza Beşiktaş from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Pancu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Shi Ming Sheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Forza Beşiktaş's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Shi Ming Sheng fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Daniel Pancu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
