An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Aguiar in the 16th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Equipo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucho Aguiar was slow to take the kick. During this time Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's players had a chance to rest. Lucho Aguiar made a great header on Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's corner, it was just that Equipo's Ismael Furman managed to reach the ball for a save. Richie Cagigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pietro Salles's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half Equipo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
