Marciano Filipo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. Marciano Filipo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Yuri Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puskas United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Godholm in the 11th minute of play forced Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Luisito Perrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Iratxo. Puskas United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Perrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Oliver Gallberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bambang Sagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Golden Dragon FC's Bambang Sagala got control of the ball when Oliver Gallberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Horado's late challenge caught a Puskas United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Horado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Leonides Horado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oliver Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golden Dragon FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when John Godholm scored to the left of an out of position Bambang Sagala, making the score, 1-1. Oliver Gallberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andréas Åman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Luisito Perrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Dalgren in the 47th minute of play forced Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliver Gallberg was the one to do the kick off. Bambang Sagala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Gallberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gustavo Aznar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Nestor Iratxo made a huge save. Nestor Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Desiderio Etor sent off a good shot on target. Puskas United's Nestor Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Aznar in the 62nd minute of play. Bambang Sagala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Gallberg in the 64th minute of the match. When Ferruccio Granati came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Puskas United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Granati couldn't finish the play. Jan-Olof Dalgren's late challenge caught a Golden Dragon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Olof Dalgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Puskas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Puskas United's zone, Gustavo Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Iratxo came out of the goal and Gustavo Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Puskas United booed when Golden Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Leonardo Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Golden Dragon FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Godholm came free, but Bambang Sagala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bambang Sagala came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Puskas United's John Godholm. But to his dismay, John Godholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
