Józef Wandzik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Maziarski went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. GKS Milenium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zenon Debkowski in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos 1984 NewDance's zone, Vito Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Józef Wandzik came out of the goal and Vito Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of GKS Milenium booed when Cosmos 1984 NewDance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Lillis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Przemyslaw Przybylo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Brack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Tasso in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Cosmos 1984 NewDance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Dockx to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 27 in the game by Vito Tasso from a close distance when the talented Józef Wandzik managed to make a qualified save. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's players were relieved. In the 29th minute Przemyslaw Przybylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Tasso in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Józef Wandzik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Tasso in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Józef Wandzik saved Cosmos 1984 NewDance from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Aleksander Skogli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The GKS Milenium fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when GKS Milenium's Vito Tasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vito Tasso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Józef Wandzik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the match GKS Milenium got a corner. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zenon Debkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, GKS Milenium's Kajetan Maziarski got a free kick in the 45th minute. GKS Milenium's Artur Brack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Przybylo in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Przemyslaw Przybylo was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by 李翔林 in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Zenon Jajecznica. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Vito Tasso sped through Cosmos 1984 NewDance's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Józef Wandzik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges-Philippe Coussement in the 78th minute of play forced Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes Cosmos 1984 NewDance's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zenon Debkowski who took care of the corner kick. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Tasso in the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Juan José Ferraro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Józef Wandzik. Zenon Jajecznica hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Tasso in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Szymon Gregorczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS Milenium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cosmos 1984 NewDance players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GKS Milenium.
