Without hesitation aimed to the right of Turgay Şeren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristiano Paolucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Turgay Şeren made a huge save. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Generation's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Clemente was slow to take the kick. During this time A.S. Udinese's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bruno Maranzano hit a great ball. A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Enoaia in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Golden Generation's Alex Enoaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Rotili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 48th minute Augusto Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgay Şeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Juliusz Chmelyk kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Chmelyk in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Golden Generation got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Chmelyk. In the 93rd minute Ercole Fiorentino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgay Şeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
