Davide Rinaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Gösta Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Herta Budino defense, Ronaldo Håland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fortunato Sangermano. The Herta Budino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fortunato Sangermano should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Codrin Tăgorean in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ronaldo Håland. After 38 played minutes Herta Budino got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Tăgorean. Mariusz Komornicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Di Crescenzo in the 44th minute of the match. Armağan Yörük made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Herta Budino's Adam Baldy. 47 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ronaldo Håland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Sangermano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 50th minute CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE were awarded a corner. Rodrigo Trigo went to the cornerflag to take it. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Yao Lin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fortunato Sangermano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Rowell to make the kick off. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Rowell in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Herta Budino getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Codrin Tăgorean hit a great ball. Mariusz Komornicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Rowell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Pedro Velasco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki. Mariusz Komornicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
