The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Eskuin in the 9th minute of play forced Herta Budino's goalkeeper Fortunato Sangermano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Herta Budino defense, Genaro Eskuin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fortunato Sangermano. The Herta Budino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fortunato Sangermano should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Genaro Eskuin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Teo Remigio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Fábio Grosso struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Emil Arendarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herta Budino. Emil Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kleanthis Zoumakis sent off a good shot on target. Genaro Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Arendarski came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi. But to his dismay, Davide Rinaldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Monte Hermoso Beach's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Herta Budino booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Rinaldi came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Rinaldi to make the kick off. Codrin Tăgorean made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pedro Velasco. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Davide Rinaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herta Budino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Rinaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herta Budino's Johannes Fransson was substituted for Adam Baldy. After some careless play in the Monte Hermoso Beach defense, Davide Rinaldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Arendarski. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Arendarski should have stopped the shot. Fortunato Sangermano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Petrus in the 87th minute. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Montrel in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Davide Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Arendarski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
