The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Di Livio got free with Cris Bala in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Herta Budino booed when Brasiliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes, Herta Budino's Fábio Grosso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cris Bala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herta Budino reached it. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Sarmento in the 24th minute of the match. Cris Bala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cris Bala. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Thiago Silvan made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Herta Budino's Angelo Di Livio. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Deng Zhen Fan made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Silvan made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Herta Budino's Angelo Di Livio. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho de Azevedo in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute Juninho de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Davide Rinaldi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herta Budino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 72nd minute, Davide Rinaldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herta Budino's Virgílio Furtado was substituted for Achille Di Crescenzo. In the 75th minute of the match, Kılıç Kerim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fortunato Sangermano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 82nd minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Davide Rinaldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cris Bala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kılıç Kerim during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kılıç Kerim hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Virgílio Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cris Bala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Furtado in the 90th minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cris Bala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cris Bala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Davide Rinaldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cris Bala. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cris Bala should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Herta Budino had played much better football throughout.
