Oskar Haeger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Oroni's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, CLC Winter's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Franco Bosso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Deo Mičánek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Dave Di Filippo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Bosso. CLC Winter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Di Filippo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ennio Di Iulio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Di Filippo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Bosso saved CLC Winter from getting behind. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Oroni in the 36th minute of play. Oskar Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Zoff in the 37th minute of the match. Harry Forsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Oroni came free, but Oskar Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dave Di Filippo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Bosso was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Di Filippo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CLC Winter booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Dusett didn't get a good kick on the ball.
