In the 13thth minute of the game Özgür Özbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westra Aros SK's Egon Olsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Westra Aros SK's Sonny Bäckström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sonny Bäckström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Westra Aros SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sonny Bäckström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Egon Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hamdi Ortan in the 19th minute of play. Atak Koral hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gökberk Özgenc in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of George Buturugã, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute Gökberk Özgenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 29th minute of play forced Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Egon Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. At last the ball reached Bektaş Veli Ülgü at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Westra Aros SK. 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Sulo Montaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sulo Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egon Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Sulo Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Olsson was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Westra Aros SK's Egon Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Egon Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sulo Montaña struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Egon Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOI. Gökberk Özgenc's late challenge caught a LOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökberk Özgenc helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LOI booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökberk Özgenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Ahmet Hamdi Ortan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egon Olsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Egon Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgür Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökberk Özgenc was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Özgür Özbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egon Olsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a little luck, Westra Aros SK's Egon Olsson got control of the ball when Sulo Montaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sulo Montaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Egon Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LOI's Tayyip Taylan was substituted for Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. 81 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Egon Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sulo Montaña. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 83rd minute of play forced Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Egon Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökberk Özgenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Westra Aros SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LOI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
