Omero Cobain started the match with the kick off. Ulryk Grocholski charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulryk Grocholski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulryk Grocholski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. FCFiratRom's attentive Yıldıray Kartekin managed to snatch the ball when Wlodzimierz Zbikowski made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. After having played for 6 minutes, Mikolaj Budzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikolaj Budzynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omero Cobain in the 11th minute of the match. Omero Cobain took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Kasperowicz. Wit Kasperowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Omero Cobain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omero Cobain in the 15th minute of the match. FCFiratRom's Ejder Baba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Maziarski in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when FCFiratRom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Omero Cobain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wit Kasperowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omero Cobain, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Raimundo Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Praski to maneuver through the defense. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Svartengren in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baybars Yılmaz during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FCFiratRom getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Baybars Yılmaz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Wlodzimierz Zbikowski got a free kick in the 41st minute. Omero Cobain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wit Kasperowicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 44th minute, Wlodzimierz Zbikowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wit Kasperowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omero Cobain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qu Bin Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, KS LEW Chorzów's Wieslaw Maziarski tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Stefan Karwowski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Wit Kasperowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nino Marcelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oso Bucuk in the 80th minute of play. Wit Kasperowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nino Marcelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Marcelli came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ejder Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Budzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Karwowski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
