That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. If Luisinho Laguna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Brodel to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Luisinho Laguna put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Durval Guerra. After 10 played minutes El Gallo de Moron got a freekick which was hit by Cheng Gang Wen. Dito Ramos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nacho Gonzalez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icoara Football Club. Luisinho Laguna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Guerra having to make a save. Durval Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Laguna came free, but Durval Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisinho Laguna might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisinho Laguna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, José Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisinho Laguna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Durval Guerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Laguna slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Laguna got free with Durval Guerra in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Laguna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Durval Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 28th minute of the match. Icoara Football Club's Durval Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Icoara Football Club from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Délio Brodel. In the 37th minute, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Luisinho Laguna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. José Ramalho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 45th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dito Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. Durval Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Laguna went, in the 50th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Garrote in the 55th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Durval Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Laguna came free, but Durval Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 59th minute of the match. Luisinho Laguna took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Guerra. Durval Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Laguna in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Laguna came free, but Durval Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Icoara Football Club's zone, Luisinho Laguna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Guerra came out of the goal and Luisinho Laguna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes, Luisinho Laguna made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Icoara Football Club's Durval Guerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. José Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. El Gallo de Moron made a substitution. Jimeno Mikolas replaced Teofilo Garrote. In the 83rd minute, José Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Luisinho Laguna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Guerra. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisinho Laguna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 89th minute, Jimeno Mikolas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Gallo de Moron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. El Gallo de Moron's Pierre Le Saint was substituted for Luisinho Laguna. Icoara Football Club's Durval Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Le Saint in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the El Gallo de Moron players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
