Bolo Skjold made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Arne Askstedt sent off a good shot on target. Smurfarna's Tord Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Lundin in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Smurfarna's Tord Gustafsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Protegéerna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robbie Prima was slow to take the kick. During this time Smurfarna's players had a chance to rest. If Petter Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tord Fors made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tord Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Jakob Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petter Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Fors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Petter Skarkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tord Fors was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Petter Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tord Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Fors was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Cosme Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes of play, Smurfarna's Jens Björling made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolo Skjold was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tord Fors didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute of the match, Ulrik Söderlund sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Tord Fors showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Ulrik Söderlund's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Tord Fors on his right side and into the goal. 48 minutes into the game it was 2-5. The Smurfarna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Protegéerna were winning 2-5.

If Petter Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Smurfarna's goalkeeper Tord Fors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petter Skarkman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 61st minute of play forced Smurfarna's goalkeeper Tord Fors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petter Skarkman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-6 in the 61st playminute. 65 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tord Fors narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Protegéerna's Michael Näver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tord Fors in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Petter Skarkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tord Fors. That made the score 2-8 in the 74 minute of play. Protegéerna's Arman Lingren was substituted for Cosme Demesio. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smurfarna's goalie prevented a goal. Tord Fors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Skarkman in the 81st minute. Petter Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tord Fors. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Skarkman got free with Tord Fors in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tord Fors made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Petter Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Smurfarna's goal looked a bit too open when Ossi Eloranta came free, but Tord Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulrik Söderlund hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Petter Skarkman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tord Fors. Petter Skarkman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-9.
