Iuri Ortiz was slow to take the kick. During this time Icoara Football Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Icoara Football Club's Iuri Ortiz to fire away a dangerous shot which Igor Siekierski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Durval Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Tipinski in the 17th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Igor Siekierski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Brow Team booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Tipinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Brow Team were awarded a corner. After 65 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Romário Bertassi. In the 67th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Igor Siekierski went to the wrong direction when Iuri Ortiz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Brow Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brow Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
