With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Mustea in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Peres saved ITAFUT 4EVER from getting behind. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Mascovescu in the 7th minute of play. After 16 minutes Phoenix Strikers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jean-Paul Møffelmand who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute of the match ITAFUT 4EVER got a corner. Phoenix Strikers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Paul Møffelmand ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ryszard Barycz scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionel Panaitoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Barycz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Panaitoiu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After having played for 30 minutes, Ryszard Barycz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Barycz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Mustea in the 45th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Ryszard Barycz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ionel Panaitoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Barycz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Barycz came free, but Ionel Panaitoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Mustea came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ryszard Barycz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Cozma to maneuver through the defense. ITAFUT 4EVER's João Vítor Porto was substituted for Niklas Bergdal. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for Evelio Rico. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Ioan Cozma got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Mustea to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Linhares came free, but Ionel Panaitoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Strikers from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Baggio got free with Ionel Panaitoiu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodriguinho Linhares in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionel Panaitoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the game, Jordan Henderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Ionel Panaitoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ITAFUT 4EVER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
