Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peter Vollander got the match started through his kick off. Dario Betzanos scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zydrunas Karcemarskas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute, Jerry Bremming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in IzmirFK's zone, Dario Betzanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zydrunas Karcemarskas came out of the goal and Dario Betzanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Betzanos in the 10th minute of play forced IzmirFK's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Betzanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zydrunas Karcemarskas having to make a save. Dario Betzanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a huge save. Golden Dragón F.C were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after IzmirFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernandez Vizcarreto took the corner. If Dario Betzanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Betzanos in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Betzanos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zydrunas Karcemarskas saved IzmirFK from getting behind. Dario Betzanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zydrunas Karcemarskas having to make a save. In the 21st minute Dario Betzanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes IzmirFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernandez Vizcarreto who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Vollander in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Pesquera saved Golden Dragón F.C from getting behind. In the 31st minute Jerry Bremming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Pesquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Betzanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zydrunas Karcemarskas having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gottfrid Allbom during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, IzmirFK's Gottfrid Allbom got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Petersen. 41 minutes into the match, Dario Betzanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zydrunas Karcemarskas. IzmirFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Betzanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hilario Pesquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Vollander in the 44th minute of the match. Dario Betzanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zydrunas Karcemarskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Betzanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Käcker hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 49 minutes into the game, Dario Betzanos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zydrunas Karcemarskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dario Betzanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Betzanos in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Per-Erik Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Pesquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Pesquera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Vollander in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Betzanos in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zydrunas Karcemarskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Betzanos took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zydrunas Karcemarskas. Zydrunas Karcemarskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Tadeo Olmedilla replaced Dario Betzanos. In the 79th match minute, IzmirFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Olmedilla in the 80th minute of play forced IzmirFK's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Olmedilla in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Tadeo Olmedilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Zydrunas Karcemarskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute Tadeo Olmedilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Petersen came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Robert Holding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zydrunas Karcemarskas came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Tadeo Olmedilla. But to his dismay, Tadeo Olmedilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the IzmirFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Golden Dragón F.C.
