Adolfo Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mascovescu in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Eftimiu to maneuver through the defense. Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Strikers from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Moldovan in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas-James Joshua got free with Ionel Panaitoiu in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas-James Joshua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionel Panaitoiu. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas-James Joshua to make the kick off. When Oscar Ermano came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the 0 descensos fans jumped to their feet. Olimpiu Mustea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Adolfo Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Panaitoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas-James Joshua in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Ionuț Romeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Lico came free, but Ionel Panaitoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionel Panaitoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Otoniel in the 75th minute of play. Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Ermano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 90 minutes Phoenix Strikers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas-James Joshua who took care of the corner kick. 0 descensos's Lucas-James Joshua was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ionel Panaitoiu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 95 minutes Phoenix Strikers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas-James Joshua who took care of the corner kick. Christiano Soffia thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ionel Panaitoiu, a very annoying self made goal in the 96th minute which led to 4-0. There was no doubt that 0 descensos were the better team. 0 descensos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
