Safet Hands was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dario Betzanos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Safet Hands stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Betzanos's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Juan Lebron made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Aureliusz Vaabengaard in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Norrlands Athen's Giorgian De Arrascaeta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huang Fei Ting got free with Hilario Pesquera in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Betzanos in the 60th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Hilario Pesquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Robert Holding put in a rough tackle. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson was substituted for Måns Sandberg. 63 minutes into the game, one of Golden Dragón F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandez Vizcarreto made a great header on Golden Dragón F.C's corner, it was just that Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands managed to reach the ball for a save. Golden Dragón F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Norrlands Athen for a fine match.
