Yngve Ugglas short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Camilo Salvidor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Carlos Campelo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Campelo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's João Francisco Freire got a free kick in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Ezequiel Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 25th minute of play forced All Boys 22's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Uggla in the 30th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Camilo Salvidor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Menchu FC's attentive Caetano Linhares managed to snatch the ball when Eloy Oihan made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Fresco. Ezequiel Fresco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in All Boys 22's zone, Gabriele Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Fresco came out of the goal and Gabriele Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Uggla in the 43rd minute of play. Yao Zhen Guang hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Abdoulay Doucouré got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gabriele Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriele Batistuta couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriele Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute All Boys 22 were awarded a corner. Yao Zhen Guang went to the cornerflag to take it. 62 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Fresco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Carlos Campelo got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ezequiel Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Freire in the 83rd minute of the match. João Francisco Freire took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
