But to his dismay, Horacio Silvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goalkeeper Karol Kluczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitris Maropoulos. After some careless play in the La Mazorca defense, Jonathan Cordarrol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Kluczyk. The La Mazorca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Kluczyk should have stopped the shot. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC were furious when Ioseba Llorente was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th minute, one of Pan Queso y Leberbush FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pan Queso y Leberbush FC. In the 29th minute, Alvaro Galsino made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Fix. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Karol Kluczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Maropoulos in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a corner. A nice corner shot did that Alex Palleschi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karol Kluczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rafael Fix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lucas Feo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With a little luck, La Mazorca's Karol Kluczyk got control of the ball when Alex Palleschi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Federico Izel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silverio Flor in the 54 minute of the game. Horacio Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rafael Fix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
