Christian Honrio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 34 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Pipis Culot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Martínez Gullotta. After 35 played minutes Circus BAF got a freekick which was hit by Grégoire Haynes. Amador Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Zheng Xing in the 39th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Circus BAF's Amador Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Stig-Inge Nymoen could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Amador Paublo however easily saved by the left post. Amador Paublo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Inge Nymoen's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Glyka Nera FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Taha Seccac in the 59th minute. After taking down the ball on Glyka Nera FC's corner Taha Seccac fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amador Paublo quite easily take care of the ball. Amador Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Zheng Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, He Zheng Xing put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amador Paublo. Circus BAF made a substitution. Christopher Rutgeerts replaced Gary Medel. Circus BAF's Kobe Mesmaeckers was substituted for Luís Fábio Cunha.
