The wind increased when Josué Paiva made the kick off in the second half. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Cecilio Tristan made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patxi Palenzuela might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Orlando Gatti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. Cecilio Tristan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dito Novaes having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
