Tottenham Hotspurs's Remigio Ticho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anfilogino Palma in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teobald Jajko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Abuba Akotonon FC's zone, Anfilogino Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Anfilogino Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Anfilogino Palma made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham Hotspurs reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tottenham Hotspurs had won after a very even match.
