Murilo Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Sarkanis having to interfere. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cléber da Costa hit a great ball. Venancio Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Caco Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Salvino in the 52nd minute of play. If Murilo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Salvino struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. With his leg Caco Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Venancio Salvino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Caco Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Venancio Salvino sent off a good shot on target. Caco Azevedo was a little too slow when Venancio Salvino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 79th minute of the game Válbson Machado made a throw-in which João Vítor da Silveira played forward. Venancio Salvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Caco Azevedo made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Salvino. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Salvino in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Damaso Cordero notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of SORRISO E.
