But to his dismay, Venancio Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Venancio Salvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Loren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Barrionuevo in the 13th minute of play forced ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper Nikos Sarkanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute João Carlos Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Sarkanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Venancio Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Nikos Sarkanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Barrionuevo in the 29th minute of play. Unax Viado kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Venancio Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ were furious when Unax Viado was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Unax Viado hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Nikos Sarkanis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ from getting a goal against them. After the first half ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wen Qing Bo was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren got control of the ball when Zhuo Guang Xing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Loren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wen Qing Bo in the 59th minute. Nikos Sarkanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Gau in the 61st minute of play. João Carlos Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nikos Sarkanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Sarkanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Porto came free, but Nikos Sarkanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, João Carlos Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nikos Sarkanis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ made a substitution. Damaso Cordero replaced Wen Qing Bo. Nikos Sarkanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Textex in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Maurino Acarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Sarkanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
