Nestor Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Sniegowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Bâru in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Sniegowski saved Szalone Konie from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Bâru was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Nestor Bâru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roch Sniegowski. The goal made the score 1-2. Szalone Konie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unidad de Matanza the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Szalone Konie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Jaraczeski to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Waldemar Okopny from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Roch Sniegowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 94 played minutes Szalone Konie got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Jaraczeski. Unidad de Matanza's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
