Guillermo Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Caco Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Specht kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Murilo Prestes made the kick off in the second half. After 68 minutes SORRISO E. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Richard Textex who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's zone, Cléber da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Sarkanis came out of the goal and Cléber da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 72 in the game by Cléber da Costa from a close distance when the talented Nikos Sarkanis managed to make a qualified save. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's players were relieved. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Cordero in the 73rd minute of the match. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Damaso Cordero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco Azevedo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
