The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Toma Lechev took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Erdinç Yalgın to make any attempt to save it. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léonard Beauchamp in the 9th minute of play. When Americo Panfilo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Kjønstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Panfilo couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Toma Lechev came free, but Erdinç Yalgın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdinç Yalgın came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Kjønstad BF's Toma Lechev. But to his dismay, Toma Lechev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toma Lechev in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erdinç Yalgın saved Mans from getting behind. Erdinç Yalgın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toma Lechev went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Erdinç Yalgın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toma Lechev in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Eusébio Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Toma Lechev came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Kjønstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toma Lechev couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Mans's goalkeeper Erdinç Yalgın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toma Lechev. In the 37th match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Tabb to maneuver through the defense. Jarle Volden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léonard Beauchamp in the 39th minute of play. The throw-in from Deng Tian Jun in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kjønstad BF's Americo Panfilo. Erdinç Yalgın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toma Lechev in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toma Lechev in the 44th minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Erdinç Yalgın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjønstad BF were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Mans's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Americo Panfilo took the corner. Americo Panfilo made a great header on Kjønstad BF's corner, it was just that Mans's Erdinç Yalgın managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Mans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustin Truffaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Gaarder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erdinç Yalgın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Gaarder's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Léonard Beauchamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjønstad BF's Reidar Nordhaug was substituted for Toma Lechev. After 80 minutes Mans's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Americo Panfilo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Americo Panfilo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mans's Erdinç Yalgın did a great save. In the 82nd minute of the match, Silvio Jatsu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jarle Volden saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Mans's Jarle Volden threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Léonard Beauchamp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mans were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faustin Truffaut took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mans's corner Côme Collet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarle Volden quite easily take care of the ball. Erdinç Yalgın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reidar Nordhaug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
