The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Mikael Liberatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Liberatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waud De Geyter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Liberatore came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 15th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Mikael Liberatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Liberatore in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. A well-hit corner resulted in David Buhăescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 24 minutes, Mikael Liberatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Liberatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wargön's Archibaldo Velaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rogério Paiva, made in the 26th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Liberatore came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 32nd minute of play. Waud De Geyter came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wargön's Mikael Liberatore. But to his dismay, Mikael Liberatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Waud De Geyter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Liberatore's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Silver Squad AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bayan Baye was slow to take the kick. During this time Wargön's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Wargön's David Buhăescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Waud De Geyter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Liberatore's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After having played for 51 minutes, Mikael Liberatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Liberatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Damazy Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 60th minute of play. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 61st minute of play. Sören Tunberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Radzyminski's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Wargön made a substitution. Artur Buba replaced Mikael Liberatore. Wargön made a substitution. Nils-Arne Nilsson replaced Per Söderberg. Bayan Baye's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waud De Geyter firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Squad AFC from getting a goal against them. Damazy Radzyminski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sören Tunberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter got control of the ball when Nils-Arne Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Van Caubergen in the 92nd minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Arne Nilsson.
