In the 6th minute Nilmar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Chang came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawid Ratulowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Maximo Villamarin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Haroldo Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Reign. Dawid Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Messi in the 20th minute of play. Maximo Villamarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Haroldo Dante made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Red Reign were awarded a corner. Zigor Ardanza went to the cornerflag to take it. Breno Loyola's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Loyola came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xosepe Villamizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawid Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Messi in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno Loyola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wincenty Szel fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Reign's protests and gave Wincenty Szel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Szel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Goya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Maximo Villamarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Reign's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Villamarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Red Reign's Kaviedes Fuentecilla was substituted for Wincenty Szel. Gláuber de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nilmar Barreto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Nilmar Barreto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Red Reign made a substitution. Pablo Beloso replaced Leoverliz Barrutia. After 73 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Barreto. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Breno Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dawid Ratulowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Villamarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
