If Damazy Radzyminski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Radzyminski scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Dante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Haroldo Dante was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Frans Van Caubergen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frans Van Caubergen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
51 minutes into the match, Nilmar de Moraes notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Waud De Geyter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeng Chang went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Damazy Radzyminski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Zeng Chang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeng Chang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes of play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waud De Geyter was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 66th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Damazy Radzyminski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Haroldo Dante was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Breno Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute of the game Arthur Queraria made a throw-in which Leonel Messi played forward. When Arthur Queraria fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's protests and gave Arthur Queraria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Queraria to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Damazy Radzyminski put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Haroldo Dante. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breno Loyola got free with Waud De Geyter in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breno Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Waud De Geyter made a huge save. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Breno Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Messi in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Soens. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Waud De Geyter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
