An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Ubarna in the 3rd minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Marinho in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Cafer Konuralp saved RED DEVIL from getting behind. After a rather tough play, RED DEVIL's Mustafa Barış Tanırcan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Erik Stor sent off a good shot on target. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaudijo Kiss-Juhász in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED DEVIL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erik Stor was slow to take the kick. During this time FC ICEWIND DALE's players had a chance to rest. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Marinho came free, but Ali Cafer Konuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Fernando Barreiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Lüdimõis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuno Lüdimõis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Barreiros's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The RED DEVIL fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when RED DEVIL's Fernando Barreiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Cafer Konuralp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Fernando Marinho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of RED DEVIL's Ali Cafer Konuralp. Ali Cafer Konuralp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmacio Etxeberri hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ding Beckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Cafer Konuralp having to interfere. RED DEVIL's Ali Cafer Konuralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Konuralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Marinho. After having played for 41 minutes, Fernando Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Ubarna charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Ubarna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
The wind increased when Fernando Marinho made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Kuno Lüdimõis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Fernando Barreiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuno Lüdimõis was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Ali Cafer Konuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ding Beckham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Fernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cafer Konuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Zdeb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ali Cafer Konuralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Marinho in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Cafer Konuralp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Ruslan Shagiakhmetov in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC ICEWIND DALE's Erik Stor. In the 76th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cafer Konuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Zdeb in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Mutu in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Cafer Konuralp saved RED DEVIL from getting behind. FC ICEWIND DALE made a substitution. Wincent Debowski replaced Boguslaw Zdeb. After a rather tough play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Boguslaw Zdeb got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ali Cafer Konuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Cafer Konuralp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Mutu went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the game, Ruslan Shagiakhmetov threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC ICEWIND DALE's Walery Wolicki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Adrian Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC ICEWIND DALE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RED DEVIL for a fine match.
