When Amado Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Loco De Remate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Nisio couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Vince Di Cola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 8th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the game Alto Wing made a throw-in which Hernán Grana played forward. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Maxim Tsigalko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Amado Nisio. Rene Aires struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Vince Di Cola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loco De Remate. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Aires in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince Di Cola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Rene Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Di Cola was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Maxim Tsigalko ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alto Wing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Timmy Henriksson. Loco De Remate's Delmar Chumo was substituted for Bruno Medero. In the 70th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alto Wing to maneuver through the defense. Loco De Remate's Clodoveo Christobal was substituted for Rene Aires. Walmir Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
