Arturo Zapolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Orvar Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Basavilbaso FC's Norbert Van den Gans got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bolli Boll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arturo Zapolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. John Glad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Leiva came out and tried to block the shot, but John Glad slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. LEBEG Team's Arturo Zapolski got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Glad got free with Thiago Leiva in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 45 minutes, Arturo Zapolski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEBEG Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Zapolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orvar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolli Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, LEBEG Team's Bolli Boll made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Bäckström was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Rubio was the one to do the kick off. Orvar Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Etxekopar in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Arturo Zapolski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thiago Leiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Rubio in the 59th minute of the match. Arturo Zapolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, LEBEG Team's Arturo Zapolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 68th minute Arturo Zapolski clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. LEBEG Team made a substitution. Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub replaced Arturo Zapolski. In the 69th minute, Radomir Ratulowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub in the 81st minute of play. LEBEG Team were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Basavilbaso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bolli Boll took the corner. Orvar Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub in the 84th minute. 92 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
