Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pranas Užkuraitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström got control of the ball when Pranas Užkuraitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 52 minutes Basavilbaso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carmelo Gorka who took care of the corner kick. Carmelo Gorka made a great header on Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's corner, it was just that Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute of the match, Pranas Užkuraitis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orvar Bäckström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute of the match Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a corner. Basavilbaso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carmelo Gorka ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Carmelo Gorka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström did a great save. Pranas Užkuraitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radomir Ratulowski kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Pranas Užkuraitis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Bäckström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Orvar Bäckström stood somewhat misplaced when Pranas Užkuraitis came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 88 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Basavilbaso FC's zone, Pranas Užkuraitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal and Pranas Užkuraitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Olimpo de Bahia Blanca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Basavilbaso FC throughout the match.
