Bajen's Lincoln Hand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolf Meulman was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kacper Wasikowski in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolf Meulman saved Olimpo de Bahia Blanca from getting behind. Duke Munoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 9th minute. Duke Munoz was a little too slow when Pranas Užkuraitis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-1. Pranas Užkuraitis struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Duke Munoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo de Bahia Blanca. Rudolf Meulman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lincoln Hand in the 22nd minute of play. Pranas Užkuraitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Duke Munoz made a huge save. Pranas Užkuraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duke Munoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Pranas Užkuraitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pranas Užkuraitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Duke Munoz made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Pranas Užkuraitis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duke Munoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Pranas Užkuraitis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Duke Munoz. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 39th minute of the match Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a corner. S.D. Bajen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommi Valkama ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tommi Valkama almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.D. Bajen's Duke Munoz did a great save. 43 minutes into the match, Pranas Užkuraitis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duke Munoz, 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Wasikowski came free, but Rudolf Meulman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pranas Užkuraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duke Munoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after S.D. Bajen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommi Valkama took the corner. The corner led Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Tommi Valkama to fire away a dangerous shot which Duke Munoz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pranas Užkuraitis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 53rd minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes S.D. Bajen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommi Valkama who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Tommi Valkama to fire away a dangerous shot which Duke Munoz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Tommi Valkama tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Pranas Užkuraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Belarmo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Rudolf Meulman was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and João Rodrigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Rodrigo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Rudolf Meulman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Rodrigo in the 87th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lincoln Hand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Meulman was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. S.D. Bajen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
