Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Grover took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Grover in the 3rd minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Clavijo came free, but Miguel Ángel Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Pirro in the 8th minute of play. Fatih-Sultan Mehmet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yao Zhan Sang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Pirro in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ciro Pirro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LUZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ciro Pirro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LA LUZ F.C.'s Ciro Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Ángel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Levander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Ángel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Grover in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Pirro got free with Yao Zhan Sang in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yao Zhan Sang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Pirro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ciro Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Tomas Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Rojek to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Pirro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Seguinus. Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Pirro in the 55th minute of play. Yakup Sargut hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. LA LUZ F.C.'s Atilla Açıkalın was substituted for Fabinho Tinoco. LA LUZ F.C.'s Jailson Britto was substituted for Ciro Pirro. When Jailson Britto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the LA LUZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Britto couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Teo Venceslas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Ángel Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Clavijo got free with Miguel Ángel Torres in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Levander struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Miguel Ángel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Miguel Ángel Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Clavijo in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernandez Quintairos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Ángel Torres. That made the score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play.
